It's perfectly normal to be nervous, but don't let it keep you from enjoying your puppy. Bring your puppy to the vet for a wellness exam, establish a relationship with your vet's office, feed a regular diet and exercise reasonable precautions. It is a good idea to look into health insurance or to keep a credit line/savings account open in case of emergency.
