 Piper Update
Got home little while ago from visiting my Piper Girl. She looks so much better today. They have her off the Dextrose and she is holding at 117 blood sugar. Hoping to hold over night. That will tell us whether she will get to come home or not. That cute little bark is not her normal bark. But, I will take it. She had just gotten back from a walk outside. She ate quit a bit for me. Then called in my arms and went to sleep. She seems to rest really well when she has her mommy. So much noise in the ICU. Even the Dr. said they don't get enough rest with all the noise. But, oh what great hands she is in. If she can hold her blood sugar above 100 for the next 2 nights she will get to come home. We will still have a long hard fight on our hands. But, we are ready for it. She will get all the rest and love she needs from mommy and daddy. Now I just have to wait to see if she held her own over night.. Please keep us in your prayers. We have only just begun. |
