We did crate him right next to our bed. He howls, barks, cries, and scratches at the door of the crate the entire time he's in there. When we keep him in the pen, he barks and howls the entire time too. We were afraid that we would have to start over. It just seems so strange that he would go out during the frigid cold temperatures to use the bathroom, and now that it's nicer, he wants nothing to do with it. Even using natures miracle and cleaning the carpets weekly, it smells and he goes in the same places. I really hope we don't have to retrain him every spring, it took forever the first time.

Our library has the suggested book, and as soon as I can get it from our location, we will read it and pray it works!
