How much to feed depends upon a lot of things. The kibble bag should give guidelines on daily feeding amounts, but you have to factor in her metabolism, how active she is, and whether she needs to gain weight, lose weight, or maintain weight.
Looking down at Sophie from above you should be able to see a waist. Feeling her sides, you should be able to feel the outline of her ribs, but they should not be prominent or so padded as to be untouchable. If she has been sick and hungry, I would give her a bit more than usual until she has completely recovered.
