I just don't know what's going on with these stray hairs unless it is thyroid. And his coat is quite thick and full now, fuller than it's ever been. The ends of his gray hairs are now tannish and he has an overall golden color look. He's gained about a pound in the last year and a half from 5.3 to 6.3 to 6.6 and back to 6.3 lbs. But I can see a stray hair or hairs sticking up on the couch throw or back of the couch all the time and frequently vacuum the couch, the throw, pillows, washing and changing them out and brush him and am always running the Swiffer thing over the floors. It's getting old now - but I never thought he could have a thyroid or endocrine issue!!! It's not like regular shedding where the dog gets up and there are a pool of hairs where he was or the floor is covered in hair where the dog has been playing but it's far more hair than any of my Yorkies ever left around on furniture.
