Hi all,
Shellie here. Hope all is well with everyone. Milo seems to be doing just great.
His potty training with the Piddle Place is going awesome. He's full of pep and energy and eating great. At 2 lbs 9 OZ he is a healthy happy boy at 6 months.
But last week when I had him snipped (neutered LOL), the doctor noticed on the blood panel his liver enzymes were 137 (he says normal is 10 to 100). So he says to keep an eye on things and retest in about 3 to six months. There are no other signs and all blood work is normal. Do you think there is something to be concerned about? The doctor says he's not worried as it is only a little above the normal range, but he does want to retest in 3 to 6 months. Should I be worried? I mean is there anything else that could cause elevated liver enzymes? I am worried even though the doctor told me not to worry. My breeder says she hasn't bred a dog with liver shunt. But I am still up at night wondering. Are there any other signs or symptoms I might see in him that might be telling.
Hoping to hear from you soon, everyone,
Shellie :-)
