Welcome to YorkieTalk, yizzl and Tish!! yizzl ... you have one smart Yorkie! You will find that they are the sweetest babies in the world! I have had various breeds but Toto is my first Yorkie and I am absolutely amazed at her intelligence and animation! Tish's other ear may not be ready to stand up. I have heard lots of different ages that they will pop up. Toto was 16 weeks when we bought her and our breeder told us that the ears had just popped up! I don't know if crawling will be bad for Tish's little knees ... I would ask the vet for an opinion or be very careful! One of the first things we taught Toto when she began to want to jump up [she wanted on the sofa at my Mom's ... ran across the room and jumped ... landed flat against the front of the sofa and fell back on the floor!

] We knew if she wanted up on the sofa, bed, etc. that she would find a way to get up ... we decided to teach her to be safe and protect her little knees. We simply keep sofa pillows [the flat kind] stacked in front of the sofa and a wicker stool at the foot of the bed and she hops up and down! Another thing we have noticed ... the only place she tries to jump up are the places where there is assistance for her! If she wants in a lap or some other place high up she simply sits in front of it and says in her little baby voice "Up"!!

She does "talk" to us in a tiny little baby voice!!

We are so afraid that she will injure her little knees that we are almost paranoid about them!!

Heck, we ARE paranoid about everything concerning her! She is very spoiled! Hope you and Tish enjoy it here! How about pictures??
