I don't think I ever tasted dog food. If I did, it may have been my rotten brother served me a little Gaines-Burger. Remember those awful things? Can't believe we fed those to our first dog.
A few months ago, the bank gave us a milkbone and I had to use my teeth to crack off smaller pieces for Max and Teddy. Yuck! They thought it was the best thing in the world.
