I have a foster who just had inguinal hernias repaired. Sadly, I did not know at the time she was spayed that she had them, so she had to have a second surgery. I opted to go to a specialist because my vet said that she was not totally comfortable doing inguinal hernias.
Maybe you would be more comfortable going to a board certified surgeon? It would cost more, but I have often felt much better going to one of them. I believe you have a good vet hospital in SA? |
