I have a 12 year old Yorkie. Over the last year he started to develop a light cough. When it got worse I took him to a Vet who feels he has an enlarged heart which is pressing up against his esophogus causing him to cough. He was put on a medication that is suppose to shirnk his heart but after a month or so I'm not sure how much it is helping. We are going to contact the Vet again today but I'd like to know if anyone has had the same type of condition with their Yorkie and if so what have you done?
