Some dogs are just quirky. Are the Maltese and Yorkie ever socialized outside of the home? My dads dogs are not, and they're not big fans of other dogs in their house or yard. They'll deal but can get barky and snappy too. Also, puppies can overwhelm older dogs sometimes, especially if they're not living together 24/7 to get used to each other. Harry may need to learn more doggy manners as well. Some dogs don't know how to take it a hint when enough is enough. Also, is Harry neutered? I have found that unaltered dogs tend to be 'victims' at dog parks, etc. A lot of other dogs do not like unaltered males. |
