We couldn't afford coverage before due my diabetes. The only insurance companies that would even accept me wanted $1300 a month
Now with ACA, they're not allowed to even ask if you have health issues.
What a lot of folks that are protesting the ACA don't realize is that if everyone has coverage, they can be healthier and more productive members of society! I was contemplating trying to get disability before, which would make me yet another burden on taxpayers. Now I will be able to go back to work as soon as I get my health issues all taken care of
