Since she is doing that well going outside, I would try not to put the pad down and see if she still continues to do that well. Teh crate and pen set up might work out great for you so she can play and stuff while you're not home. At night I would continue to lock the crate......

I want to start training my littel guys to go outside now.....I'm hoping they're ready.
