Your husband does beautiful work. Love the raised planting beds. Before Max and Teddy came along, my pets were plants. We filled our yard with all kinds of sculpted holly, I had topiary growing in the house, and I was just starting to experiment with bonzai. I would like to get back to it, but I have been lazy.
I hope you have better luck with grass near the lake down here. Our lawn is dead and we have decided to let the chickweed take over.
It takes a lot of work battling the hard clay soil here.
