I hate using any of these topicals, but I do to protect Katie. Katie got a tick on her last year, her only one, because I was dragging my heels to put Advantix II on her because I feared a reaction. She used Frontline the year before. If she had gotten sick, I would never have forgiven myself. I don't have a problem with fleas or ticks normally and never really have on my past dogs, but that's probably because I've used preventatives. I can't let my fears get in the way of protecting Katie properly.

I know what you mean I hate topicals but I can't let Callie get a million ticks either. Not only would she be miserable but they could make her sick. I hate ticks nasty little buggers.
