I am not a vet but I would in no way be alarmed, since Lola is an only dog I free feed her, so the bowl is always down and I just fill it when it is empty, some days she eats right away, other days much is still there at the end of the day and she never seems to eat in the morning. She is 3.5 years and over the winter she did put on a little weight so I now pay attention to how much she gets each day, but it's the same one day it's finished by 5 pm and she is looking for more, then other days she eats hardly anything. So I guess what I am trying to tell you, is often dogs don't eat the same amount each day so I would not be worried, unless of course this goes on for a few days and she eats nothing. |
