My yorkies are good with children, but one of them went into a terrible depression when her daddy moved away for a new job and we were all separated for 3 months before moving the family (she is daddy's girl!). She has never really been completely the same since. She will snap at anyone she doesn't know or anyone outside the family since we moved here. She is still fine with everyone she knew before and is fine with our kids and grandkids, but we have to keep her away from the neighbor kids now.
