Peanut is adorable! Congratulations on the new addition to your life.
As indicated above, Yorkies vary in personality. They tend to be high energy. Exercise helps with behavior and training. My Max grows a little yappy when he has pent up energy.
My Yorkies have not had a lot of exposure to children, so they don't like that kids are fast moving and often noisy. I let kids pet Max while I am holding him, but I hold Teddy back. Teddy doesn't like when kids put their hands over his head, or play with his topknot.
As Lisa indicated, lots of patience and training could help Peanut accept children. Also, the children need to be trained for how to behave appropriately around a dog.
