Congratulations on your new puppy! I would definitely keep the puppy, especially because you love her. Giardia is manageable.

It is not normal that the breeder gave you Panacur. Did the breeder acknowledge a giardia problem when you picked up the puppy?

What did your vet recommend to do relative to giving the Panacur? I would follow your vet's recommendations, and read up on how to care for a dog with giardia. There are things relative to cleaning and disposal of poop that are necessary to prevent the dog from continually re-infecting herself.
