I can tell that you loved your beautiful baby so much and I know your whole family will miss him tremendously. It is obvious from reading your story that he was given the best care possible for as long as could be. As hard as it is on us there comes a time when we are forced to be the advocate for our precious babies because their quality of life is not what we would want for them. I've been there with 4 of my precious senior yorkies and I know how guilty it can make you feel. Please don't feel guilty. You gave Ernie your most unselfish gift - to be free of pain and sickness and he knows how much he was loved. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Rest in Peace sweet baby Ernie. |
