When we're sleeping, she is. I get up a lot during the night, so I can tell. She sleeps in a little bed that I can see. I did "crate" her by putting a laundry basket over her for the first 9 nights. Then I stopped and I saw she didn't go wandering off and didn't have any accidents (then). She will sometimes bark at night if she's heard something close to the house and jump up but then we're awake too and she comes back to bed. She is a great watch dog. She seems to like her little bed. I put another just like it in the study because she didn't like to be on my lap on the swivel chair, so often she is right beside me while I'm on the computer. She likes to be where the action is--either with my husband and me or in the kitchen if someone else is cooking or outside if someone is sweeping. She seems to be keeping tabs on the whole household. I'll look into some kind of crate for the potty training though. I don't think it will be too hard because she seems to go immediately after eating but she isn't trained, she's just outside at the right time, usually.
