If you don't mind, I'm going to piggyback on your recommendation and add another book I haven't seen mentioned here yet - it just came out at the end of 2013, I think - and I came across it by chance while browsing at a bookstore

"Your Yorkshire Terrier - Month-By-Month" is co-authored by two vets, Liz Palika and Deb Eldredge, AND by two breeders - Preston and Marylou Groves. Along with all the advice I've gotten from Susan (Shelby's breeder at Clover Hill Yorkies), Yorkietalk, and Shelby's vet - I've found this book to be very useful as Shelby grows up - there's a different chapter for each month of the first year (months 1 & 2 are in one chapter). Covers vet, training, grooming, behavior, growth milestones, whatever you can think of).

Thought I'd bring it up - it doesn't seem to be well known here yet.
