You can also get the human form as well...the vet that I called said that 1 capsule given on a daily basis of the human form (bought at your local pharmacy as omega 3 fatty acid) will not hurt your little ones. My mom's been doing this for a while now and has seen DRASTIC changes in her dog's skin and coat. They LOVE to chew the caps and let them "pop" in their mouths. LOL
