  I think 8 weeks is pretty standard for larger breeds, but yeah, 9 weeks is a little young for yorkies. Just make sure to have some Nutrical, as it really gets them to eat when they want to skip breakfast, which you want them to never do before they get some size on their bodies. Gums should always be nice and pink. If they start looking pale it's a very bad thing and they're getting hypoglycemic. At that point you're looking at giving some Karo syrup and a rush to the vet/ER, like mentioned above. Good luck with your baby. Only thing more fun than a yorkie puppy is when they're full-grown and can go all day!
