gums seem moist, the truth is, that's the first time ever I touched a dogs gums and I have had 6 dogs. Weight is 10 lbs, she is not sneaking drinks. where I am, she's there, when I don't see her I look to see where she is & what she's doing. What worries me is, she is urinating numerious times a day, not drinking water and all that urinating!!!! she's putting out more then she's taking in.
