Thanks, everyone! We feel so lucky to have found him and fortunate that we can offer him the kind of life our Yorkies enjoy. He's such a sweet dog that deserves better than he's had.
He had his neuter surgery and is doing well. (Also, the vet said today he's ten pounds, not twelve, so not as big as I thought.)
And I've scheduled his first appt. with my regular vet as well as a grooming appt. in two weeks
with my male Yorkie so the groomer can just do the same sort-of-modified-Westie cut for both. I think he looks so much like a Yorkie, any other cut would be odd. Also, Finn has some staining on his fur toward the back from either being outdoors or in a dirty cage, so he's going to look worlds better once he gets the spa treatment.
I'll post a pic when they get their brotherly haircuts.
