I just went through a bout of what I thought was Colitis (diarrhea with blood and mucus in it ) It turned out to be rectal stricture, and required surgery.(symptoms were the same as Colitis) Your concern should not be where it came from, or how it's gotten, concern should be in getting it cured. If you are not satisfied with the vet you are using and live in one of the 5 boro's try the ASPCA.... Your last post, did you write the poop was stringy?
Thanks I took her to humane society. Not sure why they keep giving her metronidazole either when they gave her that last time and it didn't work :/ yea the diarrhea has mucus and some blood here and there. Sometimes it's very dark . What's stringy? I don't think it's stringy. Just liquidy, not very firm.
