Completely understand. I would love my dog no matter the size, but I prefer the standard size for Yorkies. Mine is much easier to carry than our 17 pound dog. She fits in a bag and I can fly with her.
agree completely, Lola is 6.5 lbs now and I don't like carrying her around much, because she seems to heavy to lug around. I even lift weights so I am no weakling, but I could not imagine carrying a 17# dog around for very long. If you carry around a heavy dog in a bag hung from your shoulder or your bent arm you are eventually going to hurt your arm or shoulder.

As you say, most people love their dogs no matter what size the grow to, but it does not keep them from wishing for something that fits the standard for their breed. Unfortunately with so many people willing to put a deposit on puppies before they are born or take one home at 7-8 weeks, this keeps happening.
