Hi and WELCOME to YT ! What do you mean, exactly, that you think his facial hair is irritating him? Are you seeing fur actually poking into his eyes? I don't believe in trimming the eye hair/fur - I find it works better to let it grow naturally as it grows away from the eyes.

If you just mean the eyes are watering/messy/teary -- this could very well be due to teething, since he's just a puppy. When teething, the eyes can water and appear irritated.
