The intense heat and humidity really slam us in the summer but that's the price we pay for the great autumns, cool-to-warm winters and most of the spring is nice - except for when tornadoes flare up in our area. If I know a bad tornado is coming my way, I can always drive to the underground parking of one of the big hospitals, park and go wait in the cafeteria or snack area with Tibbe in his carrier and a good book!
