When my pug, Arizona passed away two days before Christmas I didn't even know what to think. She was a handicapped girl and she required so much extra care and love. After ten years of life with her, I couldn't imagine life without her. I decided that I might look for rescues at some point, but wasn't in any kind of hurry. Bailey (named after Bailey Colorado, a beautiful CO mountain town) was really sad and all I could do was cry. We spent all of January very lonesome... Then this little tadpole fell into our laps. I'm smiling, Bailey is happy and even though we still miss Arizona terribly, we can move on and we have new focus and joy in our house again.
