We got wood! And DH works for a carpet distributor! Luckily they distribute wood and laminate flooring as well! I even tested a rubber wood look product in my bathroom!
ETA: Add Hydrogen peroxide to that list above! Also, a regular black light will show urine spots... the same as the urine detectors but they're cheaper.
