Saving my place here for the solution. I have tried sooo many things. Accidents are few and far between but hey they are yorkies and with two I don't know which one it is. Maybe both? Beside I think my daughters dogs didn't help.

Here are the things I have tried:
Odoban
Natures miracle-red bottle, white bottle, shampoo
Bissel cleaner
Vinegar and baking soda
Rug doctor steamer
Spot shot
Urine begone
A gate between the family/kitchen for when it wasn't possible to directly eye them
That light
All this on my oriental rug. The rug would appear clean but when it became humid I could smell urine. The rug eventual was sent to the curb for the trash man. Now I have a cheap rug, 99.00 at Home Goods and if there is another accident, oh well. But I hope removing that rug helps.
