Whispersmom---Would I get the oyster shell calcium in the health food store? And is there a certain milligram size I need to get? And would that be safe to give in addition to the perscription calcium tab that she gets every eight hours from the vet? Here is what her perscription says:
Give 1/4 Tums E-X tablet (750 mg CaCO3/tablet) orally every 8 hours for 10 days. You can buy this at any drug store once the prescritpion runs out. |
