Check the temp. If it is under 102.5 he is not feverish. If you are really concerned, contact your vet. Make sure he is hydrated and not overly excited. Remember, if one of our hooman kids has a fever of 102 they feel WARM to HOT! But, that is normal temp for some dogs and we compare them to us and think they are hot..
