Default Walking

Shelby is a great walker (and runner) but at times she does the "I don't want to go" or "I want to go this way, not the way you want to go." (This is not a late in the walk, she's tired, thing - she's just trying to control the route, which, frankly, ain't happening.).

Nice thing about a 6 lb. dog is that I can just calmly pick her up, walk maybe 25 feet in the direction I want us to go, and then put her down - she always gets it. Once she's been walking along me for a little while at right pace (I don't allow pulling on leash either - I just stop if she tries) she gets a treat for getting with the program.

Totally works and we have great walks (and runs!)
