I will have to pull out my anatomy books.....memory is dumping ancillary statistics and data that does not apply to me.......not sure there is an artery running down into toe nails....think not......in any event, hopefully this pup has been seen by a qualified vet that is concerned enough to actually examine the pup for what could have caused this issue....obviously, by this time, the bleeding has stopped.....and the longer the time passes before a diagnosis is determined, the chances are not good that she will ever know what caused this particular incident. Fortunately, the baby survived......this time. Hopefully, the next time, whatever caused this incident, will not "rupture" and the pup "bleed out"....
