Piper is home, total of 13 days in the hospital. She's eating whatever doesn't eat her first. Pooh came home the next day, a total of 5 days. Only Cindy remains but should come home monday. Nina, another poodle pup was started on the tamiflu only and is being treated at home. Within 24 hours she was playing, drinking and eating. She never had any bloody stools and only vomited 2-3 times. She looks great and is extemely po'd about being isolated. In a few days I'll put her with the other "parvo pups"
when I'm sure she's ok.
Everyone is on ad and seems to do well on it and a big plus is they actually like it. We'll stay on that for a week or 2 longer then switch to id. Thankfully I have a source to get it basically free otherwise their grocery bill would be higher than ours.
I talked to the vet about getting everyone tested but he agrees that with the incubation period just because they're negative today doesn't mean they'll be negative tomorrow so I just watch them carefully.
