Amazon is so wonderful. We have amazon prime which cost I think 80$ for the whole year and with their video streaming we have access to tons of free shows and movies (admittedly my reference point is primarily childrens shows) and can purchase or rent movies usually for a nominal fee which then stay forever available in our library- no scratches or skipping (again with the kids- big deeal at our house). Love it. More variety available than Netflix, foreign film and subtitles are available. Can't say enough.
