We are going to Florida in a few weeks and I remember all the sand burrs that daily got stuck in Huey's hair and the fight to remove them last time we went, so I decided that Huey needed a summer haircut since he was almost dragging the floor. So, today was bath and trim day. I am happy with his face, but the rest of him is going to the real groomer next week to get fixed. My groomer is not going to let me live this down-nor should he. I should have known better than to tackle a MAJOR style change. I'm ok at trims, but should have stopped there. If there were a "locks of love" program for dogs, I believe I cut enough off to qualify

Poor baby. His legs and rump are a hot mess. In my defense, though, a spinning yorkie is very difficult to trim evenly, even on a grooming table. I have never mastered the art of stopping the spin!
