I am the member pstinard is referring to. Cody's stool was (went from diarrhea with mucus & blood in it after taking meds was more like a pudding texture) loose, mucus with blood in it, stools were formed like short pieces of spaghetti, sometime shaped & thickness of earth worms. Be careful when you bring in stool sample, you will want your vet to SEE what the stool looks like, make sure you tell who ever takes the sample from you, you want your vet to see the form / shape of stool BEFORE THEY TOUCH IT, if you do not tell them this, they will mush up the stool for testing or microscope.
