Poor old girl! Even if the head twitching gets better, she needs to see the vet just because she had that episode as she's pretty old and who knows what old injuries or problems she might have that are acting up - or something new starting up. Also, maybe she could be tried on some medication that would help her ambulate if she's not already on something for it. Your description of how she moves sounds painful! It also sounds like she can't hold her urine or bowels or, she's just aching and hurting from lying down for prolonged periods during the night time and needs to stretch her joints and muscles out a bit - which goes with getting older and having joints that swell and get stiff when unmoved and muscles that spasm if left in one position too long. Maybe the vet has something to help with that aspect of her life, also. I sure hope you find some help for this girl.
