Are his toenails sharp? Sometimes they can scratch themselves behind their ear or someplace if he is itching and tear the skin a bit. It's hard to see in dark fur, but you can take a moist white washcloth or paper towel and wipe all over him to see where it came from.

Of course, keep an eye on him and have a vet check up as soon as you can, especially as he is very young.
I agree, it doesn't look like the blood is in his urine or feces, but it looks like a lot of blood, so you need to find out where it's coming from ASAP. Please take him in to the vet, and let us know what you find out after he's been looked at.
