Useless unless your interested in becoming a midwife:
I know that in childbirth (no drugs/no hospital/not being induced) the level of a woman's pain on a scale of 1-10 matches the level of dilation.
Ie on a scale of 1-10, her pain level is a 7, she's dilated to a 7.
