I think they're chewing and biting for a couple of reasons:

1. They're teething.
2. They're bored.

Have you tried Bully Sticks?

I give Aggie tons and tons of toys and chew things so that she'd be able to constantly change her toys without getting bored. We keep her toys in a box and take out a couple at a time to "change up".

It doesn't HAVE to be a dog toy. For example, when we see signs of her getting bored, don't know what to do with herself, we give her some baby carrots to chew on, or the Bully Stick (that can occupy them for a LONG time!).

Good luck!
