I agree with Yorkieshadow, it was love at first sight. Only it wasn't even Eddie, it was the breed. We had just lost a chihuahua, and my wife was devastated. I encouraged her to get another dog as soon as she felt up to it. She started researching breeds on the 'Net and kept showing me pictures of this breed and that. One day, she showed me a Yorkie puppy, and I just melted. I soooo wanted her to get a Yorkie. As fate would have it, a couple weeks later my wife visited an acquaintance who was terribly allergic to her 8 week old Yorkie pup. She brought it home for me to see, and he had the identical face I'd seen in that picture. She said "Can I have it?" My answer? "Anything for you, dear!"
