ELSY had another episode of vomiting blood and bloody diarrhea. She was a sick little girl for 2 days. Since she is prone to this we had all the meds at home for her. Was in contact with vet Monday night and since her vomiting stopped and she had no more diarrhea we waited and took her in first thing Tuesday morning. You could tell she felt slightly better but they went ahead and gave her an injection of cerenia and sub q fluids and she will stay on her flagyl and sucralfate for 5 days. Didn't t have any vomiting or diarrhea yesterday and she ate her rx diet with no problems but you could tell by looking at her eyes that she felt bad. She is finally acting more like herself today. The vet said thought it was hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. She gets so stressed when I have to leave and I think this is what brings it on. Thank goodness she is better.
