Were you feeding the freeze dried or frozen version? Mimi & Turbo always threw up after eating the frozen premade raw food, they also throw up after drinking cold/ice water. So I googled & some dogs apparently get stomach spasms from the cold food/ water & it makes them throw up. Luckily, they have freeze dried versions, so that's what they're eating & it doesn't make them throw up.
If you were feeding freeze dried & Cedric threw up, I'm wondering if he might be intolerant of the protein? Dogs throw up if they're intolerant/ sensitive to a certain protein. Maybe try switching proteins to something he's never had?
Many vets are not fans of raw food bc they simply do not understand it. Those that do are all for it, I'm lucky my vet is a raw feeder himself. He has several cats & a 1 eyed lab, all on raw food.
