I'd be scared to death somebody would break in the door and get him but the only other alternative is to keep him in the bathroom or in his crate and neither one seems a palatable way to leave our dog while we are out and about enjoying ourselves.
When I still worked, I would sometimes come home from work and Tibbe would be stretched out asleep on the living room window sill, in full view to the world at large, having watched out the window for me until he just gave up the ghost and went to sleep! No idea how long he'd been there. Needless to say, he got a 10-minute long greeting/hugging/kissing session the moment I got in the door - even if his lying in full view of the world scared me! |
well he really had to do a balancing act to get to this place there is a chair that I didnt think was close enough for him to reach this window sil but he must have jumped and streched. My food order was just across the lot but yes the bathroom might have to be the way to go if I have to step out again and he cant go with me. He always sits on the back of the recliner at home in front of the window like a cat would do. he is so cute and i love him so much.
