I think it is a fair assumption to say that since the breed is "newer," you are going to have alot of misinterpretation of the breed in the sense of it's "trueness." It all depends on what/where/who you are studying and such. IMO, at this point in time, everyone is trying to learn about the breed in general. The breeders, including the ones in Germany that mentor those here, all seem to be struggling to define the breed. Until this happens, be it here or there, this confusion surely will not clear up and become "concrete." Until then, those interested in the breed will continue to research and learn "how to do things." It is obvious that not everyone will agree or go about this in the same manner. What one organization/person/breeder sees as "the set rules" may not be viewed as such by someone else. Likewise, what organization/club/breeder one person views as having "the official say" on things, may not be such to the next person.
Irene, I respect your outlook on things as I do the other members here who may not agree with you. I am glad I have been able to get information from EVERYONE here who has had experience with this breed for sharing what knowledge they have.
